吃完麥當當的早餐後,
慢步行走在多倫多街頭, 遠處即是多倫多CN塔(CN Tower),
在過去點就是多倫多聯合車站(Union Station).

VIA, 加拿大國家鐵路
包括聞名於世界的溫哥華-多倫多段鐵路(紅線)
而今天KK要搭的則是多倫多-渥太華-蒙特婁段鐵路(籃線)
(VIA Rail, Canada's national rail service. Includes the world-famous Vancouver-Toronto line [Red Line], and today KK will be taking the Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal line [Blue Line].)

離發車時間還有5分鐘,
但車子已慢慢的滑出車站
根據VIA規定,
乘客需在發車前半小時前到車站,
這點相當重要,
因為VIA和臺灣鐵路不同,
他們不會等乘客等到最後一秒,
早個一到五分鐘發車是可能的,
所以務必要提早半小時到站喔.
(There are still 5 minutes left before departure, but the train is already slowly sliding out of the station. According to VIA rules, passengers must arrive at the station half an hour before departure. This is crucial because unlike Taiwan Railway, VIA won't wait for passengers until the last second—leaving 1 to 5 minutes early is possible, so be sure to arrive 30 minutes early!)

照片中遠處即是多倫多相當有名的聖勞倫斯市場,
古典市場內, 有著海鮮 水果, 牛羊豬雞,
是多倫多人常去的菜市場.

VIA Kingston Station (京士頓站), 這是多渥兩市中間必經之處,
這裡有著漂亮且出名的千島湖景,
和加拿大有名的女王大學(Queen's University).
(VIA Kingston Station, a mandatory stop between Toronto and Ottawa. It features beautiful and famous views of the Thousand Islands, as well as Canada's renowned Queen's University.)
途經的河流, 相當乾淨漂亮呢.
(A river passed along the way, very clean and beautiful.)

這裡的飯店多數都配有煮菜的設備,
而房價則和世界多數首都相比, 價位是很經濟划算的,
住這裡, 也能算媲美總統套房吧?

2008年的今天 , 是加拿大建國141年的日子,
最初的英國最大的海外殖民地, 而法國移民亦在這期間和英國發生衝突,
同時 不只英法衝突, 也包括了美軍曾經對這片土地的野心,
但不論如何的變化, 這個國家建立的成功,
代表著進步, 包容, 多元化的成果.
